How to become a member of PSGIS? Basic Requirements: 1. The applicant must be a national of Pakistan.  If you are foreign national and wants to become a member of PSGIS, please contact us. 2. The applicant must be a GIS expert, teacher/ student/ user of GIS. Other professionals who use computer aided programs and intend to use GIS in future can also become member of PSGIS. PSGIS welcomes medical professional, engineers, lawyers, environmentalists and IT experts. It is a wider network of experts and users of IT. 3. All members who have filled membership form after April 2005 are considered as Ordinary Member. They are not required to fill the form once again. They can  become Associate Member by paying membership fee. 4. Regular Memberships are only granted to qualified GIS experts who have been affiliated with PSGIS as Associate Member for at least 2 consecutive years. 5. All associate Members and regular members will get free email account as: yourname@ psgis.org 6. Membership Cards will be issued to Associate and Regular Members Only. Membership Categories and Fee Structure: Ordinary Member: It is totally free (No Fees required) to remain affiliated with PSGIS for receiving information and news about GIS related activities. Application Deadline: Open Student Member: Students are welcome to join PSGIS as Ordinary Members. No Fee Required, It is free of charge. After they finish their degree, they can apply to get Associate Membership. Application Deadline: Open Associate Member: Ordinary Members/student members can become Associate Member by paying Rs. 1000 per year Application Deadline: Open Regular Membership: Applicant must have been affiliated with PSGIS as Associate Member for at least two (2) consecutive years.
